Place the milk in a medium sauce pan.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the half and half, Sip! Extraordinary Drinking Chocolate® mix, sugar, egg yolks, salt, and vanilla extract.
Bring the milk to a simmer over medium-high heat.
Whisk the hot milk slowly into the chocolate mixture.
Strain the mixture back into the sauce pan.
Cook over medium heat whisking constantly. Turn the heat to low when bubbles start to pop on the surface.
Cook for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat.
Whisk in the dark chocolate and butter. Mix well.
Divide the budino into 6 serving dishes. Cover with plastic wrap to touch the surface.
Cool and refrigerate at least 4 hours until set.
Top with whipped cream and crushed amaretti cookies. Serve immediately.
