Chef En-Ming met Virginia woodturning artist, Dave Kartzman (learn more about Dave here) on a recent visit to a Virginia Farmers’ Market. Impressed by his work, she commissioned Dave to craft a wood-handled scoop to include in each box as a keepsake.

Dave carefully turns and polishes the handles from a variety of exotic woods including Coolabah Burl and Brown Heart Sassafras. Each exquisite piece has its own distinct characteristic and beauty. Please note the scoop pictured is representative of Dave’s fine craftsmanship. The specific wood you receive will be a surprise, but we are confident you will love it.

The stainless steel scoop is 2-Tbs size (5-5/8″ L x 1-1/2″ W x 1-1/2″ D) and is protected in a red satin pouch. Care instructions are provided.
